Terms & Conditions

Please read these conditions carefully. In making a booking you warrant that you are 20 years of age or older and accept on behalf of your party the full terms and conditions set out.

Holiday Insurance

It is recommended that you take out holiday insurance at inception of your booking. In this uncertain world you will require cover should the unexpected happen. We are a holiday business not an insurance business and cannot underwrite your booking.

Booking and deposit Terms and Conditions

We offer two options:

On booking, a 20% non-returnable (unless re-let) deposit is required followed by the final balance two calendar months before arrival.

Payment options are Bank Transfer, Apple pay, Credit or Debit cards.

It is your responsibility to check the details of your booking confirmation are correct and notify us immediately of any discrepancies. The total number in your party must not exceed the capacity of the accommodation as advertised unless agreed with us first.

Non family groups or large parties of more than 4 people are required to contact us for agreement prior to booking. We reserve the right to refuse any booking.

Confirmation of your booking and payment of a deposit, constitutes a contract between both parties and the lead customer will be liable for the balance of monies owing two calendar months before arrival.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified in writing or by email, using the same email address as listed for the booking.

You are reminded that you are legally responsible for the full amount of your booking and we advise you to take out cancellation insurance.

For cancellations of holidays due to be taken within 12 weeks you will be liable for the full cost. We will attempt to re-let your holiday and if achieved you will receive a refund less £25 administration costs. If we still have vacancies for your cancelled week a re-let will be harder to achieve and cannot be guaranteed.

Notifications received 12 weeks prior to your booking will result in a loss of deposit only. Should we re-let your holiday then a refund of the deposit less £25 admin costs will be made. All refunds will be refunded back to the original card or account from where paid. We shall not be held liable in the event of accommodation choice or other advertised facilities or amenities being unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.

We will always endeavour not to change the date or cancel your booking, but in extreme exceptional circumstances this may be necessary. You will have the option to accept an alternative arrangement or a full refund. We do not pay compensation in circumstances beyond our control.

Check-in and Check-out

Check in times are from 4pm for static holiday paravans and from 1pm for camping guests. Check out for static holiday caravans is before 10am and for camping it is before 11am on the date of departure.

We endeavour to have all accommodation ready for check in times stated, however, we cannot guarantee this time due to maintenance issues that arise and stringent sanitisation procedures that may mean your check-in time is delayed.

Your Accommodation

All caravans are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in outside areas away from flammable risks such as LPG supplies. Anyone caught smoking inside our caravans will have to pay a £200 cleaning and compensation fee. Our caravans are kept to a high standard and you must agree to take good care of the accommodation and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your holiday, should we be dissatisfied with the condition upon your departure, we may refuse to take a booking from you again and you may become liable for charges. You agree to pay for any losses or damages to the caravan, caused by you or your party (reasonable wear and tear excluded). Lost keys must be replaced or a charge of £25 will be required. Ball games are not permitted around any area of the park containing accommodation or vehicles, a recreational area is provided at the centre of the park. For the convenience of all our guests, we reserve the right to terminate your holiday without compensation or refund, where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons in the holiday party might impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests. Please note we have a no noise policy after 10pm or before 8am.Unreasonable noise or disturbance to other guests could result in an eviction.

BBQ’s

BBQ’s are permitted on the lawned area outside away from LPG supply and any decked area. Concrete blocks are provided for disposable BBQ’s. You must not put BBQ’s directly onto the grass or too close to the decking. Allow to cool in a safe place before recycling.

Cars

You will be allowed to park next to your accommodation. Some plots allow for 2 cars. If your plot does not allow for 2 cars you will be asked to park your second vehicle in the car park. The speed limit throughout the site is 5mph. Please do not drive too fast within the park. Anyone seen driving unsafely will firstly be asked to leave their car in the car park if unsafe driving continues you will then be asked to leave. Your vehicles, accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk. The park will not be responsible for any loss or damage from or to your vehicle from any cause whatsoever other than, in the case of negligence by one of the parks employees or agents. Unfortunately, our park does not have the infrastructure for charging EV’s, these will need charging off site.

Charging of Vehicles on the park is strictly prohibited!

Food deliveries

You are allowed to arrange for food deliveries to your caravan. Please ensure that deliveries arrive after your arrival. Should a delivery arrive before your holiday has started the driver will be turned away. Please request that the driver does not drive onto the grass but remains on the roadway close to your accommodation for you to collect.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed on our site; each dog friendly caravan can take up to 2 dogs (extra small dogs by arrangement). If you bring a dog, they MUST NOT be left unattended or left alone with children at any time whilst in the caravan or on the site. They must not go on any seating or beds and you must clean up any mess. Any damage or breakages must be paid for. Do not let your dog be a nuisance to other guests. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the park. Sorry no other pets allowed on site. Please bring your dog’s own towels and blankets/beds to lie on so that they feel at home. Please ensure that your dog has been flea treated before arrival.

Children

The person in charge of the booked party is deemed responsible for all children and young adults whilst at Treworgans. Please be aware that our play areas are not staffed and that you use these at your own risk.

Brochures and Website

Whilst we try to keep all Treworgans websites and brochure contents up to date and accurate, we cannot be held responsible for any errors.

Park Rules

Introduction –These rules help to ensure the health and safety of everyone on site at Reen Cross Holiday Park ltd. It is the responsibility of all private owners to explain these rules to their visitors & guests.


This document is an important part of your license agreement. It does not affect anything to which you are entitled under the terms of your agreement. The expression ‘you’/‘your’ means the owner and/or occupier of the accommodation. The `park` or ‘we’/‘us’/‘our’ refers to Reen Cross Holiday Park and the park owner or management.


It may be necessary to change the Park Rules from time to time. We will notify you in writing of changes using the contact details shown on your license agreement.

Unless express written permission is provided by the park, the following rules apply to all without exception.


1. General - Please respect the environment, the park; its equipment, services and planting.

 

  • Only holiday caravans/lodges of proprietary manufacture are permitted. They must at all times conform to the definition of mobile home/caravan under the Caravan Sites & Control of Development Act 1960 & Mobile Homes Act 1983 (or later amendments)
  • No alterations to your accommodation or plot are permitted, without written permission. For example, to erect any storage structure, satellite dishes, TV aerial, washing line, slabs/paving, connect services or carry out any work to the area on or around your holiday home.
  • All guests & visitors must keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 22:00 and 08:00am. Musical instruments, music players, radios, televisions & other appliances must not cause a nuisance to others.
  • DO NOT use the park water supply to fill swimming pools, wash vehicles, caravans or boats etc
  • Except for essential medications DO NOT use the park address for postal deliveries.
  • Please restrict your use of the Park Wi-Fi to light use (email) applications only. This helps to share the benefit of Wi-Fi access with all.

 

2. Health, Safety & Security

  • All must use the park safely and should not cause hazards to themselves or others.
  • For your own safety, please DO NOT enter any area marked Private or Keep out.
  • All health & safety notices displayed on the park or otherwise instructed must be complied with.
  • DO NOT climb on the grassed mounds. These contain services including electric cables and connections.
  • All accidents/breakages must be reported to the Park Staff immediately for assistance and duty record.
  • All visitors must notify reception of arrival and registration numbers of any additional vehicles.
  • Accommodation may not be used by more persons than stated in your Licence Agreement.
  • Notify reception as soon as possible of any lost property as it will be disposed of after 30 days storage.
  • Photography is only permitted for private use by your family. NO photos to be shared publically or published without the parks written permission. Photography is prohibited in the play areas or facilities blocks.
  • Safety & Security CCTV operates in key park areas. We may make promotional photos/videos or third parties may film on site. Please inform us and observe notices should you not wish to appear in any materials.
  • If you use CCTV, you must warn visitors and those around your accommodation with a prominent external notice. The CCTV may only capture images of the immediate area and not of any other part of the park, such as any path, road, or other accommodation area.

 

3. Fire Precautions & Alarms

  • You must ensure that all users of your accommodation are familiar with all Fire Notices & Fire Points.
  • On first sign of fire, you must immediately vacate the area to exit outside, warning others as you leave. Notify the emergency services (dial 999 or 112) and park management. Please report to the designated emergency muster point at front of the park and be aware to give working space to attending services.
  • Maintain adequate space between your accommodation, equipment and other units or as directed by staff.
  • Open fires are NOT permitted. Barbeques are allowed if raised off the ground and away from other combustible hazards (ask at reception for blocks). Barbeques must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. DO NOT take barbeques into accommodation or any enclosed space.
  • Extinguishers are located at each facilities building and in the recreation circle.
  • Except in an emergency, do not touch Fire fighting and other safety equipment on the park.
  • Holiday homes must be equipped with adequate fire prevention equipment (fire blanket, smoke/CO alarms)

 

4. Children & Young Adults

  • Children are the responsibility of their parent/guardian and must be supervised at all times.
  • Please ensure that your child's behaviour does not disrupt the enjoyment and safety of others on the park.
  • Children must not play on the play area between 22:00 & 08:00 (or after sun-set, whichever occurs first).
  • Children under the age of 16 should not be left unsupervised anywhere on the park or in accommodation.
  • A responsible adult must always accompany young children to the toilet and shower facilities.

 

5. Recreation & Play Area

  • You may only play ball and other games in the recreation area at the centre circle of the park. Balls or similar objects must be kept below the height of the mounds so as to limit risk of damage to accommodation and other property (DO NOT play on the mounds).
  • Please use the play area responsibly with respect to equipment, activity, age and ability.
  • You may not use drones, powered model aircraft/flying objects, powered model cars or such on the park.
  • Use of bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades or micro-scooters at the park should be done so with care and courtesy of other guests. These are strictly prohibited after dark except for bicycles fitted with adequate front and rear lights.

 

6. Utilities & Installations
If you experience any problem with the park’s electrical, gas or water system, you should inform park management immediately. You must not attempt to work on any part of the park’s electrical, gas or water system yourself; this includes any installations or equipment on the plot/pitch.

  • Strictly NO Charging of Electric Vehicles (EVs) under any circumstances. The electricity supply to your plot/pitch is not designed to accommodate the charging of EVs. This could result in damage to the vehicle and the parks electrical network. Considering the danger of connecting EVs to the park electrical supply, any guests doing so will be charged a fine and ejected from the Park without compensation.
  • The electricity supply to all accommodation is restricted. If you overload the supply your connection will cut off automatically. The switch can be re-set, but if you consistently over load the supply it will damage the RCD. In such a case you will be disconnected and charged for an electrical engineer to replace the RCD connection and any other components damaged as a consequence.
  • It is not permitted to use generators or store any flammable liquids on the park (except in a specifically designed container of <6ltrs).
    When accommodation is unoccupied all gas, electricity and water connections must be switched off.
  • The site is not connected to the main sewage network so ONLY tissue and biological waste to be flushed down toilets. DO NOT put cooking fats/oils down the sinks, drains or toilets. Cool to dispose fats/oils in general waste bins. DO NOT use strong chemicals as these will damage the sewage treatment facility.
  • Washing lines must be positioned so as to be inconspicuous and avoid inconvenience to other caravan owners or park operations (eg. grass cutting). Only use washing lines of the “rotary” or “window sill” type & store them out of sight immediately after use.

 

7. Cleanliness & Behaviour

  • You are responsible for keeping your accommodation unit, pitch/plot and the area around/under the accommodation safe, clean, tidy and free from obstruction.
  • Please use General Waste and Recycling points which are located by the facilities buildings. Empty any liquids prior to placing rubbish into the bins. Please adhere to the instructions on the front of the bins.
  • Do not deposit refuse outside your accommodation or feed wild birds or other wildlife, as this will attract pests, seagulls and rodents.
  • It is illegal to smoke or use e-cigarettes inside enclosed public buildings. Outdoor smoking is permitted if away from the play area, facilities buildings and any combustible hazards such as gas cylinders.
  • Smoking or using e-cigarettes is not permitted in any of the Parks hire fleet holiday accommodation.
  • Drugs and illegal substances, Fire arms or other weapons are not permitted on the park.
  • Police intervention for any activities causing distress or unrest to others will result in your removal from the park and contract termination with immediate effect without compensation or refund.

 

8. Accommodation & Insurance

  • Do not leave unattended any appliance, electrical or gas whilst switched on.
  • Holiday accommodation, equipment and all appurtenances applicable to be kept in good condition.
  • Only validated contractors from the Park approved list are permitted on site. Alternative external contractors may be approved if given a minimum of two weeks’ notice to confirm the contractor’s insurance, competencies and qualifications. There may be a charge for the park to confirm these details.
  • It is the owner of the accommodation responsibility to drain down and prepare for the closed season. We can advise of local engineers that can carry out this work.
  • You must ensure all gas, electricity and water connections are secure & switched off throughout the closed season or any time where the accommodation is unoccupied.
  • Owners are responsible for the security of their accommodation. Outdoor items should be stored safely and securely and valuables removed while accommodation is vacant.
  • We reserve the right to enter accommodation for any reasonable purpose, to undertake checks, maintenance work or housekeeping.
  • Due to interference with underground services nothing should be placed into the ground without written permission from the Park.
  • You must not cut any trees/plants on the park. Do not climb any tree or tie anything to any tree or shrub.
  • All owners must arrange their own insurance cover, in case of fire, theft or damage caused by high winds or flooding. The Park cannot accept liability for any damage or loss to you/rs or other/s property on site. You may source your own insurance independently or use the Park associated insurance company. There is no administration charge if you provide us with a hard copy of your insurance details.
  • You must NOT erect any tent or any additional accommodation on the park without permission.
  • It is not permitted to sleep in a vehicle not designed for habitation

 

9. Vehicles & Parking

  • We permit cars onto the park for the purposes of access to your holiday accommodation only.
  • Charging of Electric Vehicles is NOT permitted by any means (see section 5) Damage may occur to both site and car electrics.
  • Only private motor cars, taxed as such, are permitted.
  • All vehicles, accessories and items towed by vehicles (caravans, trailer tents, towed boats or jet skis etc) must be insured and in every way meet the legal requirements to be used on a pubic highway.
  • The speed limit of 5 mph must be observed and drivers must not cause a nuisance through excess revving of engines, warming up periods etc. Overly noisy vehicles will be required to park off site.
  • You must park, and move off, with consideration for others and care for pedestrians.
  • No vehicles to be parked such that they obstruct the roadway, facilities or emergency access.
  • Vehicles must be parked alongside your accommodation only.
  • Motorhomes/touring caravans cannot be parked alongside static holiday caravan accommodation.
  • Motor vehicle repairs must not be carried out at the park, unless by a recognised breakdown service.
  • You must hold a full current driving licence to drive any vehicle on the park. Learner drivers are prohibited.
  • No commercial vehicles permitted other than for delivering goods and services.

 

10. Pets & Animals

  • The keeping of any pet is at the discretion of the park whose consent must be requested before arrival.
  • Dogs, cats and other pets are permitted but must be in a cage or on a lead/harness and under the control of a responsible adult at all times. If circumstances dictate, this consent may be revoked.
  • No more than 3 pets are allowed without written permission.
  • You must clean up if your animal defecates on the park.
  • Your Licence/Booking Agreement contains undertakings not to cause any nuisance, undue noise or disturbance. This extends to the behaviour of your pets and animals.
  • Assistance dogs are permitted to be used exactly as you would at home if this is required to support a disability as evidenced by Dogs UK or any successor body.
  • Cats, dogs and small cage or aquarium housed pets may be left safely for short periods. Providing that provision is made to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the pet and that there is no noise or disturbance of other guests. For longer periods we suggest Crestlands Kennels & Cattery, Bolingey 01872 572353.
  • If you witness an animal on the park whose behaviour gives a cause for concern, please inform staff.
    Pets/Animals are not permitted in any facilities building or on the children’s play equipment. Tie rings are provided to tether your pet whilst you dispose of poo bags or wash hands etc. Pets should not be left unattended at these points. Do not tether pets to any other park structure, plants or trees. Palm tree trunks are especially sensitive and will die back from the trauma of a pet lead.
  • Safety of all guests and staff is of upmost priority. If you do not supervise and control a pet or animal, you will need to remove it from the park immediately.


It is important that all members of your party, guests or visitors familiarise themselves with the rules, conditions and emergency details available on the park. Anyone not following these rules will be removed from the park, and may have their license or booking agreement terminated without refund. Reen Cross Holiday Park and staff shall not be held liable in the event of accommodation or facilities becoming unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. These regulations are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
